As a Spacecraft System Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and operation of the Motus spacecraft system. You will oversee the entire life cycle of the Motus spacecraft system, from initial concept and requirements definition to integration, testing, and operations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring spacecraft systems' successful performance and functionality, including, EPS, communication, structure, thermal, and ADCS.

Key responsibilities

Spacecraft system requirements and architecture definition and management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software engineers, and others, to develop system requirements, and architectures.

Design solutions that meet mission objectives, standards, and cost constraints.

Develop and review system specifications, interface control documents, and other system engineering artifacts.

Subsystems trade-offs and contact with suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Knowledge of spacecraft technology and at least one spacecraft subsystem such as power, propulsion, communication, thermal, and attitude control.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry

Experience in system engineering practices, including requirements definition, system design, integration, testing, and operations.

Proficiency in engineering tools and software used in spacecraft system design, analysis, and simulation.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

Familiarity with space mission concepts, spacecraft mission phases, and mission life cycles.

Knowledge of space industry standards including ECSS.
