Position Overview

As a propulsion company, this role is central to everything we do. At Liftero, you'll play a key role in shaping our core product - BOOSTER - from early design and requirements definition to final deployment in orbit.

In space hardware, every detail matters - a single mistake can risk the entire mission. That’s why we put a lot of focus on defining solid requirements, grounded in both industry standards and Liftero’s own experience and best practices. The final design is just the tip of the iceberg - it’s built on deep technical preparation and careful planning

It’s a demanding role that comes with significant responsibility - but also the opportunity to grow and make a real impact.

Your Daily Impact

  • Develop detailed technical specifications and designs for thruster systems.
  • Perform analyses, simulations, and tests to verify thruster component designs.
  • Develop test stands for individual subsystems and entire propulsion system testing including thrust balance, TVAC stands,
  • Plan and oversee the manufacturing and integration of thruster assemblies.
  • Execute comprehensive testing and verification plans for thruster performance.
  • Analyse test results, report on performance, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Assess technology development needs and drive market readiness efforts.

Is This You?

  • ⁠Hands-on experience in planning and executing tests in the laboratory conditions.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Onshape, or similar.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Space industry experience especially in a field of propulsion systems is a strong plus
