Production & Test Technician (m/f/d)

Our story

Space is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites launch every year, and the market behind them is booming — with Poland right in the middle of it, home to a fast-rising space sector.

Liftero is at the heart of this trend. We build propulsion systems for the thousands of spacecraft coming to orbit, with the ambition to become the global leader in satellite propulsion — the transport layer of the space economy. Our goal is clear: deploy 1,000 propulsion systems in space.

Our core product is BOOSTER, a non-toxic chemical propulsion system built from first principles for the NewSpace era. It has already been validated in space.

We're a post-IPO startup, growing fast to serve the booming small-satellite market. Joining now means a front-row seat to space technology and real ownership over what we build.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on technical powerhouse to back up our engineering team and bridge the gap between engineering concepts and physical reality.

Your role will be to build, test, and verify hardware straight from technical drawings to make sure everything works as it should. You’ll take care of the workshop and test benches, handling day-to-day assembly, routine maintenance, and tool prep so our hardware stays reliable and our engineers can move fast.

Put simply, we’re looking for a DOER: someone who knows tools, isn't afraid of real physical hardware, and ensures our workshop and test benches are always ready to go.

Your Daily Impact

  • Preparing, laser marking, and cleaning components for assembly and testing per process specs.

  • Receiving, inspecting against technical docs, and managing inventory (labeling, issuing, storage).

  • Building mechanical/hydraulic test benches, conducting pressure tests, and performing quality measurements.

  • Operating metalworking machinery and performing routine equipment maintenance and inspections.

  • Supporting engineering teams, managing tool availability, and reporting issues or non-conformities.

Is This You?

We are looking for someone with a technical mindset and a hands-on approach. You don't need experience in every single area - if you have solid technical fundamentals, manual dexterity, and a strong drive to learn and take initiative, we’d love to meet you!

What we are looking for:

  • Practical Experience & Tools: Hands-on background in workshop, assembly, or production environments, with the ability to safely operate power and hand tools.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading technical drawings (dimensions, tolerances, symbols) and using basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).

  • Quality Control: Ability to perform basic component verification against technical documentation.

  • English Proficiency: Basic command of English sufficient to read and follow technical documentation, manuals, and procedures.

  • Key Traits & Mindset: High attention to detail, reliability, and strong autonomy. Flexibility to handle diverse manual tasks and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You'll score extra points for:

  • Experience with laser marking or operating marking equipment.

  • Background in assembling mechanical or hydraulic systems.

  • Testing & Test Benches: Experience in setting up or assembling technical test benches.

  • Practical experience in quality control of mechanical parts.

  • Hands-on experience performing basic technical tests (e.g., pressure testing).

  • Familiarity with basic warehouse practices and component tracking.

  • Prior experience working in a workshop, lab, production facility, or R&D environment.

Less waiting for instructions, more initiative. If you're reliable, sharp with tools, and driven to keep our technical backbone operating at 100% - you sound like a perfect match!

Perks & Advantage

  • Stable employment: Employment contract (UoP) + opportunity to participate in the stock option program

  • Private healthcare: Medical package for your health

  • Multisport card: Access to sports and fitness facilities

  • Development budget: Funding for courses, training, and professional certifications

What It's Like to Work With Us

Working at Liftero is meaningful, fast-paced, and human. We’re not trying to copy corporate culture or pretend that work is your second home - we respect your time, your life outside of work, and the fact that we’re all just people. If you're having a tough day, say it - we’ll work it out. If you’re in flow and want to build through the night, we trust you to manage your own time.

Building serious space tech takes focus, dedication, and real effort. It can be demanding - but it’s also where you’ll grow, both professionally and personally.

We’ve created a unique company culture that’s shaped by mutual respect and a shared drive to build things that fly. Whether you’re loud and all-in, or more quiet and independent - there’s space for you here.

We work in our own project management framework, refined over years of iteration. It helps us move quickly, stay flexible, and give every team member a real voice in shaping the final product.
